T-Rex Tonebug Phaser: Guitar Phase Shifter Pedal Added To Tonebug Series
Phasing into the T-Rex Tonebug Pedal Line, the new Tonebug Phaser joins four others in the series of simple, affordable effects pedals -- the Tonebug Chorus / Flanger, Tonebug Overdrive, Tonebug Reverb, and Tonebug Distortion.
The Tonebug Phaser is a phase shifter that adds a dynamic undulating dimension to your sound, notes the manufacturer, and provides only the most basic, necessary controls to get pleasing sounds from a deep, slow rotation to a light, "watery" shimmer. Its two controls are Rate and Depth. There's more -- the Gumby-green Tonebug Phaser comes with two modes: Modern and Vintage. Choose Modern for a crisp, thick-sounding phase, and Vintage for a classic analog vibe.
Phasers have been around since the late 1960s, T-Rex says, and are instantly recognizable as a signature part of the sound produced by leading guitarists like Brian May and Eddie Van Halen.
