T-Rex Tremonti Phase Shifter: Commemorating The Phasing-Out Of Scott Stapp
Introducing the first thing that Mark Tremonti is involved with that I wouldn't mind hearing more of: the T-Rex Tremonti Phase Shifter.
According to T-Rex, Tremonti has been a long-time T-Rex devotee, and when the pedal makers heard he was thinking about adding a phaser to his rig, they up and made him one. It's called the Tremonti Phase Shifter, and according to T-Rex, "Tremonti sets a new standard for gorgeous phased sound." They're talking about the pedal, no doubt.
If you're not convinced by mere endorsement from the former Creed / current Alter Bridge guitarist (and really, you shouldn't), check out this video of the Tremonti Phaser in action, played by a guitarist who is decidedly not Mark Tremonti:
If, instead, you'd like to see Tremonti "soling" during an Alter Bridge show, well. . . go find it on youtube.
The T-Rex Tremonti Phase shifter will be launched officially at Winter NAMM 2009.

Not that I'd want to listen
Not that I'd want to listen to any Alter Bridge or Creed songs, but which of their songs have a phaser guitar on it? It all sounds like overly compressed sludge riffing to me.
Alter Bridge (and Creed for
Alter Bridge (and Creed for that matter) are truly terrible.
Which is a shame because T-Rex have some great pedals.
Who needs celebrity endorsement anyway?
