Ueberschall Ambient Lines Elastik Sound Bank Now Available: No Waiting In Line Necessary
Hailing from Hannover, Germany, the sample maker (or meister), Ueberschall, has recently released Ambient Lines, a new Elastik sound bank featuring atmospheric sounds ready to drop into film and media projects.
According to Ueberschall, Ambient Lines the ideal complement for audio design in movies, commercials, game audio, documentaries, advertising, and background music. Why, you ask? Because it's packed with over 2.5 GB of spherical, atmospheric, ambient lines.
All in all, the 2.6 GB sound bank offers 457 loops and single sounds, plus 35 different ambient construction kits, each one with contents that run from slow to medium at a tempo range of 60 to 128 BPM. The construction kits are equipped with a variety of textural building blocks, such as pads, organic atmospheres, natural environments, percussion sounds, drums, vocals, moody sound effects, and much more. Ambient Lines sounds are labeled with key signature and tempo information, making it easy to find the sounds as well.
In addition, each of the kits provides its own unique tension, mood, and style; to create a new track or project quickly, just imagine the work's style or mood and then select the appropriate construction kit to match. If the sounds aren't quite what you want them to be for your track, you can mix and match the kits to customize a kit's mood or style.
All individual parts used to create the main mix are accessible for individual tweaks and processing, and each individual element within a part is further broken down, making it easy for you to remix themes and grooves on your own. Since Ambient Lines works with the Elastik engine, you can use Elastik's tools to mix and modify several of the 457 single-stems simultaneously, to create instantly refreshed ambiences and more.
Using Elastikās built-in granulation features, you can also stretch and reshape your atmospheric sounds, transform pads into glitch-based phrases, play around with the included textures, use the onboard per note pitch-shifting tool to thicken groups of pad clusters all on one page, and more. You can also apply Elastik's warm filters to your sounds to add yet another dimension to your overall work.
Ambient Lines is now available for 99 EUR (or approximately $121). For more information, please visit Ueberschall's Web site at ueberschall.com.
