Ueberschall Glam Rock: Because "Retro Chic" Is The New "Timeless Music"
Loop libraries ain't all club music and block-rockin'-beats. The new Ueberschall Glam Rock collection is for the proto-butt-rockin' spandex jumpsuit and glitter loving freak-flag-flyers of the world.
T.Rex, Slade and Gary Glitter are the obvious touchstones here, but these riff-tastic tracks could just as easily veer into hair-metal, stoner-rock, or anything that sounds best with plenty of pyro and family-unfriendly-live performances.
The sample content in Glam Rock is divided into four libraries:
- 19 Construction Kits, each containing 3 variations, bass and guitar licks, mixed and dry drum versions separated into separate layers. Multitrack sound sets let you add and subtract layers of songs for total freedom of arrangement.
- Mixable-n'-matchable Break Parts Guitar, bass and drums variations for each song style.
- Same deal with the Intro Parts—find one that works for your song, tweak stem-by-stem to your liking.
- Add-on Instruments offer another level of customization with additional bass, guitar, and organ licks (yet another phrase to add to the Google image search bucket). In the Elastik player environment each line can be changed in tempo and pitch with minimal sound degradation.
The Glam Rock content comes in two tempos—105 BPM and 125 BPM—and the two most glam-tastic scales around—a-minor/c-major and g-minor/a-major, making mixing elements from different kits easier than looking like a man in knee-high heel boots.
Ueberschall Glam Rock is a 1.9 GB sound library, available directly from the Ueberschall online store for 99 Euro.
