Sample library maker Ueberschall worked into the wee hours to release Nightshift, its latest sample collection of deep, smooth, and laid-back construction kits for Elastik Player.

Eighteen construction kits are included in all, with nearly 1,000 professionally produced, composed and arranged loops. Each kit comes with up to two sub kits (Main kit with the main theme plus sounds and phrases; and Intro / Outro kit with the matching intro / outro track for the overall kit, along with its individual parts) along with helpful variations. Overall, the Nightshift collection includes the sounds of "chilled" acoustic and electric guitars, varied and inspiring drum arrangements, and sound effects.

From the 2.9 GB Nightshift collection, you will indeed get some mellow, laid-back sounds; all of the 950 or so included loops and samples come in a leisurely tempo range of 59 to 91 BPM, ready to drop into smooth, lounge-worthy tracks for television, film, Web applications, the radio, and more. All loop file names are embedded with BPM markings and key signature information.

Nightshift is an Elastik soundbank for Macs and PCs (AU / VST / RTAS / standalone) that comes with Elastik Player, so no sampler is required. With Elastik Player, you can run Nightshift's included sounds and also customize them to suit your tracks using the player's built-in DSP functions.
