What's new from Ueberschall? Urban Ballads, a 3.6 GB collection of "smooth and sexy" construction kits for urban and R&B music.

As the latest addition to the company's Urbanic Series, Urban Ballads offers 22 urban construction kits in all, with samples, beats, guitars, Rhodes, pianos, basslines, synths, pads, sound effects, and numerous drum and percussion sounds.

Paced at a rather slow tempo, all samples range from 50 to 77 BPM and are labeled as such with their key signatures as well. According to Ueberschall, Urban Ballads features all the slow and calm kits needed for creating the freshest, most modern love tunes, ballads, and R&B tracks.

Each kit contains up to four sub kits: the Main Kit, which includes the main theme, sounds, and phrases; Variation Kit A, which rovides an alternative track and phrases to add contrast to the main theme; Variation Kit B, which includes an additional alternative track and phrases for more flexibility; and Intro / Outro Kit, which offers the matching intro / outro track for the overall kit, along with its individual parts.

Ueberschall points out that this structure makes it easy to select the correct vibe needed for your track. In addition, Urban Ballads comes with Elastik player, which allows you to further tweak the samples to your individual needs.
