Developed for the UAD-2 platform, the Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb plugin is a true emulation of the original Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb released in 1978. The plugin delivers the digital version of the original unit's tactile, slider-based controller and famously lush reverb tail.
The Lexicon 224 plugin for UAD-2 captures all eight reverb programs available in the original 224 firmware version 4.4, including every tunable parameter, with fader-style controls. For the most realistic playing experience, the plugin also incorporates the original unit’s input transformers and early AD / DA converters.
In addition, the Lexicon 224 emulation for UAD-2 features direct input and presets from famous Lexicon 224 users, including Chuck Zwicky (Prince, Jeff Beck), Eli Janney (Jet, Ryan Adams), David Isaac (Eric Clapton, Luther Vandross), E.T. Thorngren (Talking Heads, Bob Marley), and Kevin Killen (U2, Peter Gabriel).
Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb plugin features include:

You can expect the Lexicon 224 Digital Reverb plugin to be available for purchase via UA’s Online Store in the second quarter of 2011, for $349.
The plugin will be part of the new UAD Software version 5.9.0 release, also slated for release in the second quarter.
