UVI Sound Source Emulation II Introduced For UVI Workstation 2
What's new from UVI Sound Source? Emulation II -- a sound library / virtual instrument for UVI Workstation 2 featuring a set of instruments designed to reproduce that 1980s vibe that we all know so well.
Emulation II is said to deliver everything from warm digital sounds to the most analog-ish textures through hundreds of sounds and instruments that were recorded and carefully selected from the actual restored instrument. Using both analog and digital gear, UVI Sound Source sampled a range of drums, basses, bells, choir-voices, fretted instruments, effects units, keyboards, mallets, percussion, synths, strings, orchestral hits, and more in order to preserve the lo-fi charm of the original instruments.
The new release also features over 250 sounds and primary editing tools, which will allow you to create authentic spin-offs with infinite options of sounds and tones. As a bonus, Emulation II comes with Drumulation, a beatbox with step sequencer loaded with more than 500 drums and percussion sounds.
According to UVI Sound Source, Emulation II sports a simple, fully functional user interface that reproduces the looks and feeling of the most famous and essential machine from the '80s. The maker of Emulation II describes Emulation II as the ultimate digital version of the long standing professional sampler of the mid-'80s that has been used by Depeche Mode, Peter Gabriel, Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Jean-Michel Jarre, Stevie Wonder, Genesis, Paul McCartney, Enya, Vangelis, in John Carpenter's soundtracks, and so forth.
Emulation II for UVI Workstation 2 is now available for Mac and Windows (VST / AU / RTAS / MAS / Standalone) for $199.95. For more information, please visit uvisoundsource.com.
