Vater Percussion

Vater is adding a number of new drum sticks to its line of pro-drummer models: the Mike Johnston 2451 in hickory or maple, the Big Mike Clemons, the Chris Pennie, and the Nisan Stewart.  

Many drummers have signature sticks. Now, even more drummers have signature sticks (thanks to Vater) namely Derek Roddy, Brian Frasier-Moore and Mike Wengren. Oh, you don't know who those people are? New signature stick releases are a great excuse to find out. Follow me!  

Designed with input from three of jazz drumming's "Elder Statesmen" -- Jimmy Cobb, Chico Hamilton and Charli Persip -- Vater's new Legends of Jazz artist model sticks represent something like 180 combined years of playing experience, well over 1,000 combined recordings, and a list of associated acts that's so long as to be truly absurd.
