DJ gear maker Vestax introduced its portable, colorful little MIDI pad controller, the Pad-One.
Compatible with most major DJ software and digital audio workstations (DAWs), the Vestax Pad-One is a small but solid MIDI pad controller that can be used to control any kind of MIDI device, including synthesizers, samplers, drum machines, and electronic drums.
The new Pad-One sports an aluminum chassis, not a plastic enclosure, so it will never warp or crack over time. The controller offers 12 Velocity- and pressure-sensitive LED backlit pads with an individual LED color for each bank and a selectable MIDI message for each pad. With the Pad-One, you also get a real-time XY touch pad, full control of the Roll button tempo via the Tap button, USB connectivity, and of course, a MIDI cable connection for control over your effect and sampler devices.
