Vestax VCI-100MkII: New 4-Deck DJ Controller With Audio Interface

January 24, 2011
Vestax released the VCI-100MkII controller with four-deck control, MIDI controls, and an audio interface.

Heads up, digital DJs -- Vestax is now shipping the new VCI-100MkII controller, which features four-deck control, enhanced platter resolution, hands-on platter torque control, many new MIDI controls, and a professional audio interface that expands your setup with CD players, turntables, samplers, or effects. This new controller follows the company's recent release of the VCI-100.

Now available, the VCI-100MkII features Vestax’s exclusive platter technology, enhanced with increased pulse resolution (2,400 pulses per rotation) and optimized torque control. DJs now have the ability to tune the JOG wheel’s rotation torque to their preference by simply adjusting the centerpiece.

The VCI-100MKII also provides DJs with the ability to control four decks simultaneously. According to Vestax, the symmetrical control layout and DECK selector switches provide effortless switching between decks. A built-in two input / four output professional audio interface enables DJs to include CD players, turntables, effects, samplers, and more to their setup. The VCI-100MKII can also be used with other audio interfaces.

Durable and lightweight, the VCI-100MKII’s strong and solid anodized aluminum top panel give the unit a streamlined, professional appearance, while new ergonomically designed control knobs with anti-slip coating make it easy to make precise adjustments. All of the VCI-100MKII’s buttons have been tuned to provide refined touch and precision, and LED backlights let DJs view their current setup status. Likewise, the multi-function joy stick offers instant access to track lists, quick track previewing, and track loading.

Vestax VCI-100MKII features:

  • 4-Deck control
  • Professional audio interface
  • Assigns up to 128 parameters
  • Large lightweight JOG wheels with advanced pulse resolution and torque control (2,400 pulses per rotation)
  • Speedy track searching and loading with the joy stick
  • Ergonomic control knobs
  • Strong Alumited panel
  • Symmetrical Control layout
  • Durable, lightweight design

The VCI-100MKII comes bundled with Traktor LE DJ software with a special upgrade offer for Traktor Pro. Traktor LE offers two beat and tempo-synchronizable decks, classic DJ effects, fast database browsing and iTunes import, and much more for Mac or PC.
