Vienna Symphonic Library 10 Year Anniversary Kicks Off With Lower Priced Bundles And DVD Collections
To celebrate its 10th anniversary of business, the Vienna Symphonic Library (VSL) is offering a major price reduction on most DVD Collections, seven new product bundles at lower prices than previously released bundles, and a preview of Vienna Instruments Pro, the new Vienna Instruments Player Software.
Most VSL DVD Collections, both Standard and Extended Libraries, are now much more affordable than ever before; reflecting the current shifts in exchange rates, the US ($) prices have been lowered even further. The Symphonic Cube with 10 DVD Collections, for example, is now priced at $7,470 (instead of $12,460), while the Vienna Super Package with all 22 DVD Collections is now available for $12,480 (instead of $21,445).
In addition to lower prices, VSL has introduced six new bundles: Solo Strings Bundle, Chamber Strings Bundle, Orchestral Strings Bundle, Appassionata Strings Bundle, Woodwinds Bundle, and Brass Bundle. Each new bundle includes two or three DVD Collections. The already existing bundles, Strings Package, Winds Package, and Keyboards Package, will still be offered under their new names -- Strings Complete, Winds Complete, and Keyboards Complete -- and are complemented by another new bundle, Percussion Complete.
Vienna Instruments Pro, the new sample player to be released this summer, features innovative functions and new capabilities that will add more creativity and human behavior to virtual orchestral music production with Vienna Instruments, according to the manufacturer. Major new features include the ability to control the performance accuracy of your virtual musicians, a new time stretch algorithm, assignable tuning scales, new controller types for enhanced switching intelligence, and the easy assembling and stacking of patches with individual access to EQ, routing, timing, and tuning per articulation.
The new Vienna Instruments Pro player will load all existing and future Vienna Instruments sample collections. While the current Vienna Instrument Player will still be included as free software with any Vienna Instruments Collection, Vienna Instruments Pro will be available for download at a to-be-announced price.
