Vienna Symphonic Library INSP:IR Impulse Library Vienna Edition Offered For Vienna Suite Convolution Reverb
New from Vienna Symphonic Library, the INSP:IR Impulse Library Vienna Edition (199 EUR or approximately $278) is a special edition of the multi-positional reverb sample library by Inspired Acoustics. This impulse library offers multiple stereo and true stereo impulse responses from ten renowned halls, some of which are part of the World Heritage, such as the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall Palace of Arts, and the Esztergom Basilica.
Two hundred and thirty impulse responses are on board for Vienna Suite Convolution Reverb. Using the Reverb and the new library, you can virtually place your virtual instruments or sound recordings inside the included halls and hear them as they would sound if they were really there. The multiple measurement positions offer you a choice of where to set your source and listener positions within a given room, while the impulse responses have a full 24-bit (over 140 dB) dynamic range at all frequencies, providing warm and long reverberations.
The INSP:IR Impulse Library Vienna Edition includes 10 halls. Vienna Symphonic Library describes them below:
- Béla Bartók National Concert Hall (shown above, on left): the renowned concert hall with variable acoustics
- Esztergom Basilica: the largest cathedral in Hungary
- Fertőrákos Cave Theater (shown below): a cave theater near the Austro-Hungarian border, part of the UNESCO World Heritage
- Liszt Academy – Dome Hall: a practice and teaching hall for students of the Academy
- Liszt Academy – Great Hall: the famous concert hall (before its renovation)

- Szeged Cathedral: a cathedral in southern Hungary with clear yet long reverberation acoustics

In addition, multiple source and listening positions, and multiple stage and audience positions are included for each hall.
