VirSyn KLON: Let Them Feel Your Wrath

October 07, 2009
VirSyn KLON Vocal Designer is a harmonic pitch shifter plugin capable of manipulating vocal sounds in real time with low latency

Real-time vocal editing is now possible with VirSyn KLON - The Vocal Designer (Mac/Win; €99), a new harmonic pitch shifter plugin that allows you to manipulate vocal sounds in real time with low latency. It operates by taking one voice and adding up to 16 different copies of that same voice, laying a foundation of voices for you to divide and conquer customize. This plugin is ideal for use as a choir generator, harmonizer, voice doubler, pitch corrector, and extreme voice manipulator.

The 16 pitch shifters inside KLON are divided into four groups, each of which have their own dedicated set of controls. Each group has its own x-y pad for controlling pitch and panorama, as well as an adjustable formant control for shifting up or down octaves. KLON also includes pitch correction tools that may be applied to any scale or to external MIDI notes and chords.

From now until October 31, 2009, VirSyn is offering KLON for €99 instead of the original price of €169. Furthermore, if you purchase Take Five FX (which includes the plugins Bark, Matrix, Reflect, TDesign, and VTape) before the end of the month, you will receive KLON for free.

Imagine this in four-part harmony
