Virtuasonic MiJoy Pro 4 VSTi Enables Joysticks As MIDI Controllers
It is Virtuasonic's greatest joy to announce version 4 of MiJoy Pro (Windows; $34.95 MSRP), the VSTi plugin that lets you use a joystick or gamepad as a MIDI controller. Control virtual instruments, hardware synthesizers, samplers, effects processors, and so forth, with a gamer-friendly type of controller.
The MiJoy plugin offers eight slots assignable to every joystick axis of your choice between X, Y, Z, Slider1, Slider 2, Z-rotation, and their inversions. Unlike previous versions of MiJoy, version 4 allows you to assign the same axis to more than one MIDI command at the same time with independent MIDI settings (Ch, minimum / maximum value, axis response, and so on). The plugin also includes axis inversion; a new axis display with four switchable pointers, one for each couple of axes; an improved MIDI monitor; and a new navigation menu with buttons.
MiJoy Pro 4 can now be your joy. Download the VST instrument plugin from the Virtuasonic Web site.
