Vital Arts Media's Plectrum really made an impact on us at the Winter NAMM 2008 show. Plectrum is a very unique software piece with 185 meticulously sampled instruments -- all acoustic.

From incredible piano sounds to oddities like coffee cups played with teaspoons, Plectrum really does combine a spectrum and a plethora of sounds that are fun to play with and sound spectacular. Check out this video to hear them in action.
