Vox AC30 Custom Classic Amplifier Video Demo: Live From The Vox Mancave
March 09, 2010
Fans of the AC30 should either be ecstatic about the improvements made to their favorite amp, or pissed that they're going to have to replace their current model. The new Vox AC30 Custom Classic adds some significant improvements and flexibility to the legendary design while still retain the core character that makes a Vox a Vox.
We headed over to the Vox listening room at Winter NAMM 2010 to check out the AC30 Custom Classic in all its soaked-tube glory. As you can hear, the updated dual channel circuitry makes for an AC30 that can cover an even wider array of tones. As you can also hear, this amp gets LOUD.

Improvement?!
How the heck are 4 inputs an improvement?!
I have the older Custom Classic - it has 2 inputs AND a switch which bridges the channels for you (go into the Normal channel, flick the switch, now you can blend them WITHOUT A JUMPER CABLE).
I don't get how having to use a jumper cable is easier or better then flicking a switch! Sound slike somebody's running out of ideas for their "new" model...
You have the WRONG description
The NAMM 2010 amp is called: AC30C2
These are AC30 CUSTOM
NOT CUSTOM CLASSIC
the older models are AC30CC2 'CUSTOM CLASSIC'
They apparently have slightly different sounds & controls/inputs.
You should correct your copy so readers wont get confused.
