Vox Satriani Promo: A VOX Satch Pedal On Every Pedalboard, A Chickenfoot In Every CD Player
The R&D team from VOX and Joe Satriani put their domes heads together to produce what are now three VOX Joe Satriani Signature Pedals. Thanks to VOX and the generous ideas of Mr. Satriani, it is now possible for you to emulate Joe Satriani's sound without the need to go on the web and inspect the setup of his rig. Now VOX is trying to up the ante in pedal sales with a new promo: Get a copy of debut Chickenfoot album -- Stach's new project -- for free with every purchase of a VOX Joe Satriani Signature Pedal.
From this point up until August 31, 2009 VOX will give you a free Chickenfoot CD if you purchase a VOX Joe Satriani Signature Pedal. . . not quite the In Rainbows model, but still not a bad deal. At the present time, there are three VOX Joe Satriani pedals to choose from: Satchurator, Time Machine, and Big Bad Wah. As all three are now available in stores, and purchasing any of these pedals entitles you to a free copy of Chickenfoot's debut album. Get all three of them and you'll have two extra copies to give away to your siblings, your girlfriend / boyfriend, or your "friends" who keep on "borrowing" your CDs (that never ever find their way back home to your CD rack again).
As a background, Chickenfoot is a supergroup (and a Superfood) comprised of Joe Satriani on guitar, Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony (formerly of Van Halen fame) on vocals and bass respectively, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on drums. Their first album was released the 8th of June 2009. The band will be playing dates in Europe for the summer and will be back to tour the States in August and September. Remember the date when the promo will expire is August 31st, 2009 (repeat after me, "I will buy my VOX Joe Satriani Signature Pedal before Chickenfoot's US tour.").
Ed. Note: You can watch Chickenfoot's performance on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien here, but be warned, the mix on his new set is terrible.

Chad Smith is NOT Will Ferrell
