Voxengo TransGainer 1.2 Effect Plugin Updated: Fix Those Transients

According to Voxengo, TransGainer allows you to specify gain adjustments for a sound’s transient and sustain stages separately. In addition, you can also choose an expected average time between transients, so that algorithm delivers the most precise results possible. You can use TransGainer as a mix transient shaper; track transient shaper; transient processor; or as a stereo, mid-side, or 5.1 processor. Suitable for a wide range of professional music production uses, TransGainer implements an audio signal envelope adjustment algorithm that reacts on transients rather than on a signal’s loudness level. As Voxengo notes, this algorithm allows you to adjust volume of attack and sustain stages of any of your sounds in use. TransGainer was designed in a way to be suitable for all possible sound sources, individual tracks and full mixes alike.

- Preset “update” function has been implemented in the preset manager
- “Density mode” has been implemented in level meters
- The “No Multi-Channel Operation” global switch has been added, which fixes incompatibility with some non-VST2.3 compliant VST hosts
- The “Show All Channel Meters” routing switch has been added
- Additional visual look variation settings have been added
