V-Pick, makers of the thick, transparent, comfortable, expressive picks that I can't stop losing, has announced the Diamond. At ten bucks a pop, it is apparent that these picks pack something extra -- but they're probably not made out of real diamonds. That would be ridiculous.

Vinni Smith, the founder of V-Picks and designer of all of these picks, had this to say:

"I am excited to announce we have released the V-Pick Diamond. I love this pick. I have had about 10 of them out for reviews and every one got thumbs up on all points. Every guitar player absolutely loved them!

The V-Pick Diamond is cut with lasers, hand ground and buffed. At 3.75 mm, it's thicker than your standard V-Pick, but it's still dwarfed by some of the massive models like the Big Fattie.

It also falls in the middle in terms of it's edge. It's not quite rounded and not quite pointed, but compromised in between for a blend of advantages from both. Thus, it is versatile enough to work lead and rhythm, and it's a fast pick to play.
