V-Picks Ultra Lites: For Those With Tiny Spaces Between Their Thumbs And Forefingers, V-Picks Salutes You

August 12, 2008
V-Picks Ultra Lites drag smooth

V-Picks built their reputation on their clear, unorthodox, thick guitar picks, but apparently, there are those of you out there who just can't handle 2.75 millimeters or more. For those of you, V-Picks released a new pick: the V-Pick Ultra Lite.

Called "the Ultra Lite cigarette of the clear pick community" by the writer of this article, V-Pick Ultra Lites are a Kate Moss-like half a millimeter thick. They convey the same V-Pick vibe and grip, but unlike the others, the Ultra Lites have a bit of flexibility to them.

Compared to other picks of the same thickness, the Ultra Lite model should provide a bigger, fatter sound. V-Picks recommends the Ultra Lite pick for both acoustic and electric guitar.

I've purchased a pack of 10 in the last NAMM show and I really think It gives a different sound and feel to my playing. I truly recommend it, it takes a little while to get use to it but is whorty.

Danny, I totally agree. I really dig the tone. My only qualm is that I've lost many a V-Pick -- maybe I should invest the extra dollar for the glow-in-the-dark models.
