Vienna Symphonic Library Vienna Suite: Delicious Mixing And Mastering Bundle Will Satisfy Your Suite Tooth
November 05, 2008
A new Vienna Symphonic Library is cause for celebration, and word must have leaked last night about their new Vienna Suite because everyone I saw seemed to be in a great mood. It brings eight complexly built and easily operable mixing and mastering plugins.
All these plugins provide full 64-bit processing on every major 64- or 32-bit host platform in AU, VST and RTAS formats. Even if you're not using Vienna Ensemble or Vienna Instruments, you're invited to use Vienna Suite -- though Vienna Instruments users will be privy to some expertly tailored presets.
Here are the included plugins:
- Equalizer for silky smooth highs and deep and powerful lows -- includes an integrated 120 band spectrum analyzer. Extremely low CPU usage.
- Master Equalizer provides three filter types on five bands and additional high and low shelf filters with two filter types. The use of 4x oversampling makes internal calculations even more precise. The weapon of choice for delicate sonic mastering tasks.
- Limiter with realtime input / output waveform display and auto-mode for transparent maximization.
- Compressor -- features modern and vintage algorithms and a real-time input / output waveform display.
- Multiband Limiter –- offers four bands with transparent crossover filters and an additional full-range brickwall limiter at the final output stage.
- PowerPan for powerful stage positioning of instruments, featuring realtime audio angular analysis.
- Exciter –- offers 4x oversampling, tone-color sliders for mixing odd and even harmonics, and a high frequency FFT spectrum analyzer.
- Analyzer – featuring a 120 band analog modeled spectrum analyzer, fast and accurate display of bass frequencies, auto mode for automatic range management, and loudest frequency note display
