Walden Guitars D710CE: Solid Components In A Classic Dreadnought Style With A Clear And Flat Sound Is An Acoustic Dream Come Tru
Walden Guitars has entered this Summer's NAMM with a new acoustic guitar. From the Natura 700 Series, the Walden Guitars D710CE has emerged and is showcased in Summer NAMM 2009. Featuring impressive components such as woods and hardware, Walden Guitars is making sure that the D710CE will be a hit among acoustic guitar aficionados.
The D710CE has a dreadnought-style body with back and sides made from solid Indian rosewood. The soundboard is made out of solid Engelmann spruce with the soundboard bracing in a scalloped-X style. The neck is made out of mahogany with a two-way adjustable truss rod installed as well as a nut width of 1-11/16" and finished off with a solid rosewood fingerboard. Appointments include a white plastic binding, abalone rosette, pearl logo, Walden rosewood bridge, and gold tuners with tortoise buttons. Available options include a Venetian cutaway for easy access to higher frets and amplification via Fishman Aero+ with tuner or a Fishman Classic 4.
All in all, the Walden Guitars D710CE has been described soundwise to have a very flat response without much tonal coloration difference in between strings.
