Waldorf Pulse: Monophonic Synth Show-N-Tell

November 19, 2008
Waldorf Pulse

Sometimes a piece of gear sounds so good that it just doesn't matter how difficult it is to use. For Ross Kelly, that piece is the Waldorf Pulse synthesizer. This monophonic piece has a matrix that makes on the fly tweaking a knuckle-bustin' task.

One more upgrade and Waldorf could probably make all parameters adjustable by -- and only by -- killing alligators with your bare hands. The costumes they used to promote Blofeld show that they're wacky enough to do that.
