Waldorf's Prototype Zarenbourg Electric Piano In Action
April 02, 2007
At press time, the Waldorf Zarenbourg is still a prototype electric piano, with more work to be done before it hits the market. That said, Waldorf was still happy to show it off at this year's Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany. Gearwire got an exclusive demo of the Waldorf Zarenbourg. See and hear what Waldorf is calling "a guitar for keyboardists" in our demo video.
Here are some of the features for the Zarenbourg current at press time:
* 76 keys and hammer action, wood keyboard optional
* Advanced Physical Modeling, optimized to reproduce electro-mechanical tone generation systems authentically
* Five classic E-Piano simulations
* Two user-defined E-Pianos, editable through software
* Tremolo mono/stereo switchable, intensity and speed controllable
More info is at the Waldorf official site.
