Available with four- or five-strings, the new Warwick Corvette NT "Neck-Through" Limited Edition 2010 Bass is said to combine a modern ergonomic style with a tone similar to that of the 1960s and 1970s vintage J-bass.

With a name that implies speed, stealth, and hot stuff in general, the new Corvette NT bass sports a light swamp ash body that provides warm tone and a "fat" foundation, a neck-through design, and a hard maple neck that delivers tight attack and sustain. A dark ziricote top is used for the body and matched headstock.

The Corvette NT has two active Twin Jazz pickups and active 3-band MEC electronics, which are said to give the bass a powerful punch and modern flexibility. Four separately connected single coils, grouped in two "sweet spot" cavities offer a versatile, vintage feel. Each Corvette NT Limited Edition 2010 bass is personally signed on the headstock's back by Warwick founder and president Hans-Peter Wilfer.

Left-handed players can get a lefty version of the bass at no additional cost. The Corvette NT is also available fretted or fretless (for the right-handed bass only) as well.
