Warwick P-Nut III Signature Bass: Hand-Hewn From Wood With Made-Up Names

January 26, 2009
Warwick P-Nut III Signature Bass Winter NAMM 2009

Afzelia? C'mon, man, that's a spell from Harry Potter, not a tone wood. Burl Blackwood? That was my elementary school's principal's name, and that's Dr. Blackwood to you, buddy. He didn't go through four years of post-graduate education training to be called "Burl" by some stranger.

I'd more readily believe that "P-Nut" is the legal, given name of the 311 bassist and namesake of this, the Warwick P-Nut III Signature Bass.
