Washburn Joe Trohman Idol Series Guitar: Get Your Riffs On Like A Fallout Boy
Washburn's Idol Series electric guitar now includes a hand-made Joe Trohman model. Joe Trohmanis a Washburn player and the guitarist for rock radio phenomenon Fallout Boy.
The Joe Trohman Washburn Idol is a single cutaway shaped guitar with dual humbuckers and Washburn's innovative Voice Contour Control. This is Washburn's unique coil splitting system that switches the humbucking pickups to a single coil tone for different blends and combinations of tone.
The Trohman Idol features a solid basswood body and what Washburn calls a "wide-yet-thin" profile. It rounds out with 22 medium-jumbo frets on its rosewood fretboard and a set of Grover tuners to steady your strings.
This is what Joe Trohman had to say about his own Idol Series guitar:
"I spent a long time putting this guitar together, making it something that really represented me as a guitar player. This is the result and I'm so pleased with it. The fact that Washburn presented this opportunity in the first place means the world to me, and now I got to work with great people to create something I truly love. I'm a guitar player, and I'm obsessed with every inch, every nook, every aspect of guitars in general. I put my stamp whole heartily on this guitar, knowing that it fully kicks ass and surpasses my standards. I'm excited to make it available to everyone out there. Enjoy it, it will bring you riffs galore."
