Waves GTR3 And Waves GTR SOLO:; Take Waves's Free Amp Sim. . . Please

Contrary to popular belief, Waves GTR Solo won't automatically inject rippin' guitar solos into your tracks. OK, maybe that's just my belief as opposed to "popular" belief. . .regardless, the truth is that with the Waves GTR series of amp sim plugins, you still have to learn how to play the guitar.
Not that that's a huge disappointment; as you can hear in this video, GTR3 is a pretty cool sounding sim. Plus, if you don't have the patience to learn guitar, you can always hire Asav (Asaf?. . .sorry man).

CPU HOG!!!
GTR3 is a massive CPU hog it's unreal.
I've tried using it with sonar and as a
stand alone it's a fun program but eats
resources up and slows things down dramatically.
