Now shipping from Waves, WavesLive MultiRack Native is a software application designed to run multiple simultaneous instances of Waves plugins along with live analog and digital mixing consoles.

In a nutshell, MultiRack Native is made up of plugins; virtual Racks that hold virtual instruments; Snapshots that store plugin and Rack settings; and Sessions that store the settings for all Waves plugins, Racks, and Snapshots, as well as information about the setup design and signal flow. You can create up to 64 racks that host up to 8 plugins each.

The software application complements hardware outboard gear and makes it easy to both set up and take your studio setup from studio to stage. According to Waves, MultiRack Native reduces the need to cart around heavy rackmounted devices, and it makes routing simpler because it uses fewer cables than typical setups. Full snapshot automation with total recall is available so that you can set and save presets and snapshots per song and song sections.
