Rob Ickes is a renowned bluegrass player, and his signature Wechter model -- the 6535R -- is one mean instrument, especially in the hands of Tony Polecastro, guitar buyer for Old Town School Music Store. A laminate-maple body and open-screen sound holes make for a loud and open sounding guitar.
If it were ever possible for one to get "funk nasty" on a resonator dobro, it'd be Tony Polecastro on a 6535R.
