Weiss

You'll see a lot of great Weiss gear at Boiler Room Mastering, and it's all for a good reason. Collin Jordan even uses Weiss for sample rate conversion, because of how important SRC is to mastering studios. Don't settle for anything less than the best.  

Collin Jordan of Boiler Room Mastering showed us his Weiss linear phase EQ, perhaps his favorite piece of hardware gear. Weiss impressed him so much that he shows us his DS1-MK2, a digital compressor with some amazing capabilities.  

Boiler Room Mastering's Collin Jordan talks about how the Weiss EQ1-LP fights the problems that occur when he receives mixes with all sorts of garbage in the sub-bass frequencies. Garbage doesn't belong in the 20-40 Hz range, it belongs in the gutter. Then again, this paragraph belongs on HBO in the late 90s to be relevant.
