Mr. Les Claypool talks with Gearwire about how he found the one-stringed Whaomla. . . or rather, how it found him. It's a frightening tale of spirit-groupies and the Backwoods of Burlignton, VT. This sort of thing happens to Les often, apparently.

While I do wish people would randomly give me instruments, I am glad that I don't regularly get approached by groups of strangers demanding I take things from them (not since moving away from the Washington Square Park area, anyway).
