Rhodes Mark 7: Rhodes Doesn't Mess With Working Formulas
February 14, 2008
Rhodes pianos are some of the most highly touted vintage pianos on the planet, so with the Mark 7, there wasn't really a need to make any major changes. Keeping many of the same techniques and components from the Mark 5, the Mark 7 only looks to add on a good thing.
The only thing it subtracts is the weight. Going from a sturdy 120 pounds to about a Nicole Ritchie-esque 90 pounds, it is better suited for transporting.

Wow...
Would love a rhodes piano, here's hoping it won't be too expensive.
Can't wait to see one in person!
Hey next time you guys have an opportunity to interview this guy, could you please film more footage of the keyboard? All you had to do was put his voice talking over footage of the keyboard so we can see everything he is talking about. The guy is awesome because he built them but I think most of us would rather see the Rhodes and all the details of it instead of just him and the interviewer guy standing there 95% of the freaking time. Thanks.
