Cakewalk E-MU Proteus Pack: Expanding Your Sound Choices At Winter NAMM 2008
Straying away from the popular SONAR software, Cakewalk pushes their E-MU Proteus Packs, which surprisingly aren't futuristic pill-form foods though they sound minimally delicious. Instead, the E-MU Proteus Pack bring authentic E-MU sounds from their Emulator II and Emulator III synths used in pop songs like Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer" and pop culture like the theme from The X-Files.
Cakewalk also shows the Minimoog Tribute Expansion Pack for Rapture created by Craig Anderton. Craig's impressive resume [he's created his share of sounds before for companies like E-MU, Steinberg, DigiTech, Yamaha, Korg, Oberheim and more] should attest to the fact that the Minimoog Tribute Expansion Pack does justice to the classic Moog sounds.
