XOX Audio Tools Handle Guitar: The Guitar You Can Carry From Many Angles
XOX Audio Tools has tapped into guitarists' dreams with the latest version of the Handle at MusikMesse 2008. The Handle is a guitar with a unique carbon fiber construction where superfluous material on the body has been removed.
According to XOX, carbon fiber offers a wider harmonic range than wood. It is extremely rigid and complements the guitar's holey design for increased sustain. Plus, carbon fiber is very lightweight and doesn't warp in hot or humid temperatures.
Two main improvements have been made to the Handle. First, it comes in two inlays. The first inlay is a single-dot inlay with a mother of pearl marker on the 12th fret. If you're into wilder design [think Zubaz pants] the other option is for the zig-zag inlay. More importantly, the Handle is now built with a truss rod to make it more adjustable.
Coming standard with every Handle is sleek European construction with high quality components made in the USA like two DiMarzio pick-ups, a Graphtech nut, Planet Waves Autotrim tuners and the Hipshot Babygrand bridge. It boasts a slim neck with 24 frets. It was designed by Peter Solomon and has won many awards including the "Good Design" Award from Chicago's Athenaeum Museum and "The Most Innovative Product at NAMM 2008" from Guitar Jam Daily.
