XT Software XT ReWire VST: New Virtual Instrument For Recording Audio Into EnergyXT

December 04, 2009
XT Software XT ReWire VST is a virtual instrument that lets you record audio from other host applications directly into VST host

New from XT Software is XT ReWire VST (Mac / Win; 19 EUR, approximately $28), a virtual instrument for VST-compatible hosts that lets you record audio from other host applications directly into energyXT, or any other host supporting the VST standard. For example, using XT ReWire VST, you would be able to start up Propellerhead Reason or Ableton Live and record its instruments and devices directly into the energyXT digital audio workstation for further editing and mixing.

In addition to playing back and recording instruments and devices in energyXT, the virtual instrument allows you to record or add multitrack audio functionality to your Reason projects and render them to WAV, AIFF, or MP3 files. Furthermore, you can use it to add ReWire master functionality to host applications that lack this feature. XT ReWire VST has one stereo channel and six mono audio channels, up to 128 MIDI mappings from energyXT to Reason, and the option to sync playback on or off.

During XT Software's Christmas Sale, energyXT will be available at the discounted price of 49 EUR, or approximately $73. For more information, visit energy-xt.com.
