Like every year, there was a lot to be distracted by at the Yamaha booth, but one of the more interesting new offerings from the Japanese mega-brand was the Yamaha A-Series line of acoustic-electric guitars.

Yamaha has long been know as a manufacturer of entry-level acoustics of above-average build quality and tone.With the A-Series Acoustic-Electrics, Yamaha is making a strong entry into the mid-priced market. All the models in the A-Series line will street for under $1000 US and feature beautiful solid woods, understated aesthetics, and pro-level playability.
