Soundwise, the Motif has been a favorite at Gearwire as far as the large keyboard workstations go. Well, now Yamaha has beefed up the line with the new XS series. What have they added? Probably the most notable newe feature is the expansion of sample banks. The new piano has 8 sample elements which doubles that of previous versions. Also, they have added multiple articulations to their patches, a lot like the TYROS series. Check out the video for demos of these cool new features.
