Yamaha PSR-S910 and PSR-S710: Oh Yes; Arranger Keyboards Can Definitely Breathe, Squeak, And Sing

Not all one-man-bands and singer/songwriters have the patience to tinker around with computers for experimenting and capturing that instant flash of inspiration. Some singer/songwriters, especially the "young-once-s" would love to just push a button, play, and save. They, of course, would also love to have something that sounds very professional. Catering to that never-ending requirement of instantaneous musical appeal, the Yamaha PSR-S910 and PSR-S710 has just debuted at the recent Summer NAMM 2009 trade show.

The PSR-S910 is a 61-key arranger workstation which adapted the feature sets of the flagship arranger Tyros3. This includes Super Articulation Voices which gives strings, guitars, reeds, and brasses realtime expressiveness (such as breaths, string slides, fret squeaks, etc.) previously unattainable on a keyboard instrument. At this day and age, whoever said that keyboards can't sing could now be easily ridiculed -- we keyboardists now have the last laugh, haha! Fitted with other features such as a 7"X7" color screen, USB audio recording, MP3 playback, as well as broadband internet connectivity, you can now do just about everything you need to arrange without ever opening your computer. Instant ensembles are just a few switches away.

The PSR-S710 boasts functionality with affordability. It is the ideal arranger for both home and stage with a wide range of sounds and realistic styles. Armed with superior sounds, USB audio recording capability, 16-track, sequencer, large easy-to-read screen, internet and USB connectivity make it a perfect arranger for the home, studio, or stage.

The PSR-S910 has a price of 1,999 USD (MSRP), and the PSR-S710 is priced at 1,399 USD (MSRP). Both are expected to be shipped by October 2009.
