Yamaha SK-20 Is The Ace Of Bass For Willis P. Jenkins

March 17, 2009
Yamaha SK-20 Willis P. Jenkins

The Yamaha SK-20 presented itself, like so many of Willis P. Jenkins' irreplaceable instruments, on the top of a heap in a pawnshop many years ago. It has since taken over the role of bass in Jenkins's one man band endeavor, if for no other reason than that Jenkins simply doesn't have enough hands to play a bass while drumming, singing, operating a looper pedal and playing melody on that other keyboardish thing to the left. Believe me, he would if he could.
