intro
4416 Hard drive(s)
Good info in the vid!
However, way back when, I had seen the 4416's shipping with only 20GB drives. Mr. Krag mentioned using a 40GB drive. Now, I know that Yamaha had a "compatibility list" out in the ether somewhere at one time, that listed lots of different hard drives and CD/R, CD/RW drives. BUT, I have also read that there is some kind of 4200rpm upper limit on the hard drives.
QUESTION: Does anyone know if the 4200rpm limit is a hard/fast rule?!?
I know that the 4416 has been around for a while, but with the spiffy 7200rpm+ drives (even some audio-specific drives), does anyone know whether you can kick things up a notch?
