Yamaha Motif 8 And Hammond XK2

San Francisco's New Monsoon was on tour when Patrick Ogle interviewed them here in Chicago. It makes sense then that keyboardist Phil "Pianimal" Ferlino did not have his Rhodes with him. Instead, Phil uses piano sounds from the Yamaha Motif 8 and gives us his take on how far along physical modeling has come on synthesizers -- a welcome change from our normal bellyaching about amp modeling.

Presenter: Patrick Ogle and Gretchen Hasse, Gearwire
