Samson's C01U Microphone is a studio condenser microphone that can be plugged into any computer with just a USB cable. Just sit in front of the computer and and sing into this thing, or get your podcast on. It's both Mac and PC-friendly, and it has a 19mm diaphragm for "big studio sound." Plus it ships with Sonar LE software. Now if we can only figure out how to get the whole setup into the shower stall...

A great piece of kit

I've had my C01U for over a year now and can only recommend it to everyone. I use it to record acoustic guitars and vocals. It captured sound is crisp and well defined. You can download a software preamp from the Samson site, which allows you to set volumes and includes a tone cut, very useful when recording vocals. The downside: it doesn't support ASIO.
