Zoom G2Nu And Zoom G2.1Nu Guitar Effects Pedals Feature New Tones, Presets, And More
Building upon what the first G2 guitar effects pedal had to offer, the new Zoom G2Nu (shown on left) and Zoom G2.1Nu (pictured below) add improved tone technology, some practical features for better usability, and patches created by none other than guitar virtuoso Steve Vai.
Both new pedals feature 100 preset guitar sounds (20 of which were made by Vai) and 20 types of guitar amps and stompboxes. Additional patches emulate famous rock sounds from the 1960s and 1970s, as well sounds from other famous, unnamed artists. The G2.1Nu sports a built-in expression pedal for enhanced control.
The pedals can also operate as audio interfaces, letting you record directly to a computer via the built-in USB port. Thanks to direct monitoring, the G2Nu and G2.1Nu should have few latency problems. For easier navigation, a large 1.9-inch LCD display and a redesigned interface are provided.
What's more, the pedals are accompanied by free, downloadable software that gives access to new patches and helps you edit, import, and export patches and share them with other users.
